Tips and Variations for Garlic Breadsticks:

You can use different varieties of bread, such as multigrain, rye sourdough, brioche, etc., and make it fancier.

Adjust the quantity of garlic powder based on your preference.

Make sure to coat the entire surface of the bread with garlic butter to avoid uneven browning.

You can use a store-bought herb mix or make your own with dried parsley, basil, oregano, rosemary, and thyme.

Cook the garlic breadsticks on low heat to ensure maximum crunch. Cooking it slow and low is better as you want to give the cheese time to melt properly but avoid burning the garlic and bread.

Variations for Garlic Breadsticks Recipe:

  • Garlic Cheese Toast: Don’t want sandwich-style garlic breadsticks? Make it simple. Apply garlic butter on both sides and toast one side on the pan. Flip the bread (keep the toasted side on top), add a cheese slice, and sprinkle cheese, herbs, and chilli flakes. Cook on low heat until the cheese melts, and enjoy!
  • Garlic & Pizza Breadsticks: Apply pizza sauce on the bread slice before you add the cheese and top with chopped onion, tomato, capsicum, and chilli flakes. Cover with the second bread slice and cook it like the recipe above.
  • Garlic Naan Breadsticks: Give this recipe an exciting twist. Instead of regular bread, cook naan with garlic butter for complete indulgence in each bite.

Serving Ideas:

Serve garlic breadsticks with tomato ketchup, pizza sauce, or marinara sauce as a dip.

Make a quick meal by pairing it with fresh salad and tomato soup.

It also goes well with potato wedges, chips, and onion rings on the side.
